General information

In general, there are three rounds (including the final). Wherever possible we want to make the first round as local as possible but, in general, traveling around is all part and parcel of the ethos of the quiz - meeting like-minded people. If you are like me then you like traveling around and seeing different parts of the country - I've definitely visited a few places and made a few friends that I wouldn't have otherwise .

Each round consists of between 3 and 6 people answering a total of 120 questions. The procedure is very low-tech: if a question is unanswered, or answered incorrectly, it is carried along to the next contestant, and so down the line. Points are straightforward - one point for all correct answers. Contestants are "shuffled around" regularly.

Currently these areas are especially short of applicants : Scotland, North-East and Yorkshire, South-West England.

Any queries, please do get in touch, Brian
